AOKsouND ARTIST BACKGROUND
"I Will Exalt Thee." These are the words that resounded in the head of the young MC, barely a teenager. It was a revelation- an epiphany. The thing is though, with emceeing it has always been about self exaltation and braggadocio. Everybody knows that. Who brags more than a Rapper? These are the terms of the craft and as he spent his next years honing his skill and developing as a total lyricist, he realized the significance of 'I Will Exalt Thee' (Oh, that was the voice of God speaking to his consciousness so early in life, on the very day he indicated to God his desire to be a great MC.}.
You see, God knew the hearts of men would lead them to the stage where they would command a reverence and literally attempt to be the only stars in Gods show. I mean, music itself as a faculty was created By God for hIs Glory and purposeful use, thus indicating to us that the creator has an intended purpose for sounds (and its hard for an MC to be brought down, but come with a humble thought because nothings too hard for our God).

"Well, one day after i had just got off the mic at a church event, the host of the show called me Bruce Almighty- which i mean i kind of liked the ring of ... but when i thought about it- i said you know... There Aint nothing Almighty about me separate from God Almighty because in myself i aint mighty enough to even stand. So i decided to go with the name Bruce Loves the Almighty and it apparently works out with the acronym blA- which is very befitting, because its not about me. Furthermore, those who are of the world are not trying to hear a message that speaks about submitting to Gods will -blA blA blA," Bruce said. bruce loves the Almighty- blA?
Contrarily, the music sweet to ya ears. When you hear it you instantly recognize that these measures are being layed down by God himself and he doesnt always have to use a pro. The thing is- it took blA years to realize what God actually meant when he told him that He would exalt him as a rapper. "OH SHnapp- God didnt mean for me to be bragging about myself on the mic BUT INSTEAD EXALTING HIM! i wasnt supposed to be glorying about sex, drugs and the other, but instead giving my testimony of the power of a crucified, risen, coming again Savior. The second i realized and started operating in that frequency, doors of opportunity began flying open for me....and im preparing to walk through one now, but...but who cares about my story- its all about His story," as blA says in his lyrics to the song 'Parable', "..since in the beginning the rest is His-story."
